Miresfield is an 18th century Farmhouse, which has been in the Sharp family for over 100 years..
It was converted into bed and breakfast in the 1980`s, and the farm buildings were added in the 90`s.
The conversion was done using all local tradesmen, using traditional building methods, to maintain the look of the area.
The Sharp family have lived in the valley for over 100 years, on 5 farms, rearing sheep and cattle, and delivering milk throughout west Yorkshire. During the 1950`s, they reared and sold day old chickens throughout the country.
The farm is no longer worked by the family, but is still used in the same ways as 100 years ago.
